When NV „Diamantclub van Antwerpen“ was formed in 1893, it acquired its own premises in the Pelikaanstraat, where it is still located today. The trading room and offices were officially opened in 1894 in the presence of Jan Van Rijswijck, thethen mayor of Antwerp.

After just a few years, the building was enlarged and extended to the Hoveniersstraat. Alterations took place again in 1922 and between 1966 and 1969, the building was virtually completely replaced by a modern one, which also gave occasion to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the „Diamantclub“ in the presence of King Boudewijn.

Today, more than 150 firms are located within our buildings. Various committees of the Board of Directors are continually working on a permanent update of the infrastructure and security arrangements with the aim of creating a pleasant working environment for both tenants and members.
