The SLOVAK GEMMOLOGICAL INSTITUTE (Slovenský gemologický inštitút, SGI) is the first company in Slovakia associating professional gemmologists and court experts from the precious metals branch.

SGI provides clients with wide scale of services in the field of gemmology*. The primary focus is on complex analysis of cut diamonds and making expert appraisal. The lab is equipped with the most advanced technology based on spectroscopy, which is able to detect not only synthetic diamonds but also diamonds that were subject to various treatments.

We have been cooperating closely with SGI since its establishment in 2002. Along world-class gemmological institutes such as GIA /Gemological Institute of America/, IGI /International Gemological Institute/, and HRD /Hoge Raad voor Diamant/, SGI is an exclusive laboratory performing analyses of all kinds of gemstones being sold by our company.
